By accessing or using Relief Radar (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. About Relief Radar
Relief Radar is a platform that connects communities affected by disasters with volunteers, donors, and relief organizations. We facilitate coordination but are not directly responsible for the fulfillment of relief efforts organized through the platform.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
4. User-Submitted Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (relief posts, photos, messages). By posting, you grant Relief Radar a non-exclusive license to display and distribute the content on the platform. All public posts are subject to moderation before appearing in the feed.
5. Donations
Donations made through Relief Radar are processed by third-party payment providers (e.g., Zeffy). Relief Radar does not retain a percentage of donations. Tax-deductibility depends on the recipient organization's status in your jurisdiction.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to: post false or misleading relief needs, harass other users, upload malicious code, impersonate others, or interfere with the platform's operation.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Relief Radar does not guarantee the accuracy of disaster data, relief posts, or trip information submitted by users or third parties.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
