Build disaster response technology that works in the field when everything else has failed.
ReliefRadar tracks disaster zones in real-time. We show governments, NGOs, and first responders where people need help, how severe the damage is, and where resources should go.

We need a technical co-founder to build this into something that works in the field when everything else has failed.
Build alongside our CEO (MsPH Johns Hopkins, health policy and data specialist). Own the technical stack. Deploy it in disaster zones.
You'll build real-time damage assessment tools, mapping systems that work on cheap phones with bad connectivity, and coordination software that doesn't break when the power goes out.
You've actually responded to a disaster. You packed a bag and showed up. Maybe after a hurricane, maybe after an earthquake. You saw the chaos and wanted to fix the coordination failures.
You build fast and iterate in the field. You're more interested in shipping something that works than perfect architecture. You can code in a damaged area with spotty wifi.
But honestly, skills matter less than drive. We need someone young, enthusiastic, fearless, and a bit geeky. Someone who sees a satellite image of destruction and thinks "I can get resources there within 6 hours."
Full ownership stake with revenue share once profitable
You own the stack. You make the technical decisions.
Your code will coordinate millions in aid.
Deploy during active disasters. Work where it matters.
This is nights and weekends until we have paying customers, then we figure out the transition together.
You'll work long hours when hurricanes hit and get 3am texts when systems break. If that sounds exciting rather than exhausting, we should talk.
